René Cordero
René Cordero is a Brown belt who has been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) since 2019, discovering it only after having exhausted other martial arts forms that were no longer satiating his appetite for athletics and self-defense. René adopted the martial art into his daily routine and began competing in many tournament circles. BJJ offered René the emotional stability to earn a PhD in history, and now he implements many of those lessons in his professional life as a professor of history at Williams College.
